Grading & quality
We classify broken screens into 4 grades.
A: LCD screens must be original and working. No dead pixels, working touch, no backlight problems
OLED screens must be original and working. Working touch and no shadow in the screen
B: LCD screens must be original and working. 1 dead pixel, working touch, minor backlight problems
OLED screens must be original and working. Working touch and very light shadow in the screen
C: LCD screens must be original and working. 2 or more dead pixels, working touch, minor backlight problems, slight color deviations
OLED screens must be original and working. Working touch and visible shadow in the screen
D: LCD screens must be original and working. 2 or more dead pixels, touch problems, minor backlight problems, slight color deviations
OLED screens must be original and working. Problems with 3D touch and excessive shadow in the screen
!: Screens that do not meet the above critera are completely broken screens with broken flex cables, copy screens, OLED screens with black spots and lines.
Packing and shipping
- Make sure the screens are packed in bundles of up to 5 pieces and preferably wrapped in bubble wrap
- Make sure the flex cables are not severely pinched to prevent tearing
- Print out the application form and attach it completed and signed to your shipment
- If you take care to package them properly (as if they were new screens) it will benefit the yield.
- If you send us 25 screens or more per shipment we will refund the shipping costs you incurred.
Test results, reporting and payments
- When you register and deliver a batch of defective screens to us, you automatically agree to these buyback terms and conditions
- We only pay out the amount of the prices applicable for that week. Do you send us a shipment in week 14 that pay out week 14 prices.
- To keep our process fast and efficient, we never return screens after they have been reviewed by us. After review, we always send a test report with the benefit amount. We never wait for an agreement on this test report. After all, you didn’t sign up with the best for nothing, and you always get the best possible fees at Brokenscreens.co.uk.
- For payment of the amount, however, You must send us an invoice including VAT within 10 working days of receipt of the test report. You can do so at info@Brokenscreens.nl. We never pay out in cash. Please note: If, after receiving our report and despite reminders from us, you continue to fail to send this invoice to us for payment – after a period of 180 days after sending our test report, your claim to payment of this shipment will expire.
